Who we are

Nordica Sold-out is a Shopify app made by Variegata Nordica (Mallory Berthomé). Questions about this policy or your data: mallory.berthome@gmail.com.

What the app stores

• Your store’s address and Shopify access, so the app can open in your Shopify admin and read your collections.
• The collections you choose: their title, original sort order, and the order of their products (as product numbers), so sold-out products can go back to their place.
• A short queue of products whose stock just changed, deleted once handled, and a log of what the app moved, kept for 30 days.
• Your settings, plan (Free or Pro), time zone and currency.
• Messages you send with “Contact support” or “Suggest an improvement”, and the email address if you add one.
• Technical error reports: your store’s address, the page and the error, so problems can be fixed.

What the app changes in your store

Only the order of products in the collections you choose and, with your consent, their sort order (switched to Manual, and back with “Turn off and restore”). If you turn on “Hide sold-out products” (Pro) and grant the extra permission, it also takes sold-out products off your Online Store and puts them back when restocked, keeping a list of the products it hid. It never changes products’ content, prices, stock or theme files.

Your customers

The app doesn’t read orders or any information about your customers. It adds nothing to your storefront: no scripts, cookies, tracking or analytics.

Who processes the data

Cloudflare hosts the app and its database. Shopify provides the store data and handles billing. Nothing is sold or shared for advertising.

How long it is kept

When you uninstall the app, your sign-in data is deleted at once. Everything else linked to your store (saved orders, settings, activity, messages) is deleted when Shopify asks for it to be erased, 48 hours after uninstalling. You can ask for your support messages to be deleted at any time.
